Volunteers for Runnymede Food Bank (RM) at Runnymede Food Bank (RM) : Volunteering

Launched in February 2012, the Runnymede Foodbank is led by the Beacon Church with assistance from other churches and groups in Runnymede.

Benefit delays, low income and benefit changes are the primary reasons why people are currently being referred to foodbanks for emergency food. Please contact Voluntary Support North Surrey for more details.

They are extending their services in include an afternoon foodbank session on Thursday afternoons inside the church at St James' Church, Weybridge.

What skills do I need?

If you have some time to spare and would like to help, there are six foodbanks located across Runnymede - location and times as follows:

Egham - Monday 10 - 12pm (10:00 - 12:00)
Egham Hythe - Tuesday evening 7 - 8.30pm (19:00 - 20:30)
Addlestone - Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays 10 - 12pm (10:00 - 12:00)
Chertsey - Wednesday 10 - 12pm (10:00 - 12:00)
Englefield Green - Wednesday 1 - 3pm (13:00 - 15:00)
Weybridge - Thursday 1 - 3pm (13:00 - 15:00)
