Volunteer Youth Worker - Blackwater (SH)

Vision 4 Youth (VSNS)

Support local young people in a relaxed, welcoming youth café environment

Location: Darby Green, Blackwater | Commitment: 1–2 evenings/month (term-time only)

Join Vision 4 Youth, a vibrant youth project supporting 11–25 year olds at our community youth club based in St Barnabas Church. We’re looking for friendly, approachable volunteers to help us create a safe, fun and inclusive space for young people to unwind, chat and connect.

You'll help with setting up, serving drinks, and engaging in low-key activities like board games, mindfulness colouring, and crafts. Most importantly, you’ll be a friendly face and listening ear for young people who may be facing challenges or just need a break.

The commitment is flexible—just once or twice a month on a rota basis, making this an ideal opportunity for working adults or university students returning home for holidays. Optional Youth Mental Health First Aid training is available to those interested.
