Love me Love My Mind (CSVA)

Love Me Love My Mind is a small registered charity based in Epsom Surrey which aims to promote better understanding of mental health and to support the well-being of everyone in the community.

Role Purpose 

To maintain, develop, update, and improve the LMLMM WordPress website. You will ensure that our service information, event dates, and resources are accurate, helping the Epsom community find the support they need quickly and easily. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Content Updates: Regularly update the schedule and "What's On" pages. 
  • Blog Management: Upload and format news articles or blog posts provided by the CO. 
  • Technical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, including plugin updates, broken link checks, and basic troubleshooting. 
  • Accessibility & UX: Ensure the site remains user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and accessible to people with varying needs. 
  • SEO & Analytics: Monitor basic site traffic via Google Analytics and optimise page titles/descriptions to help local residents find us in search results. 
  • Security: Oversee basic site security and ensure contact forms are functioning correctly to protect user data in line with GDPR. 

What skills do I need?

Skills & Experience 

  • WordPress Proficiency: Experience using the WordPress dashboard, or other page builders. 
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent proofreading skills to ensure all live content is professional and error-free. 
  • Basic Design: A good eye for layout and the ability to resize images for the web (e.g., using Canva). 
  • Self-Motivated: Able to manage technical tasks independently and meet small weekly deadlines. 
  • Mission-Aligned: A commitment to presenting mental health information in a clear, supportive, and inclusive manner.
