Mid Surrey Dementia Care Trust (CSVA)
We require a happy cheerful person to help(alongside a manager) 6-8 people in a social environment.
The situation is a small social club where interesting people, who have recently been diagnosed with early onset dementia, meet. This environment helps them to retain their communication and social skills.
This role is a hugely rewarding one where our members are keen to reminisce, play card games, do puzzles, quizzes and generally have a fun day, thereby giving their carers a much needed respite.
No qualifications are necessary, but an empathy for people who are slightly forgetful would be an advantage.
There is no physical care require.
An awareness of peoples emotions is necessary and the ability to help serve tea, coffee and biscuits is a must!
