Volunteer Speaker in Surrey

Medical Detection Dogs

Medical Detection Dogs trains dogs to detect the odour of human disease.

Our team of Bio Detection Dogs detect diseases such as Cancer, Parkinson\s and COVID-19 and could provide fast, accurate and earlier and non-invasive diagnosis.

We also have Medical Alert Assistance Dogs who warn clients with complex health conditions when they are about it have a potentially life-threatening episode so they can take the necessary action and stay safe and out of hospital.

Our dogs are saving lives now and have the potential to save hundreds of thousands of lives in the future.

But we need your help.

Medical Detection Dogs need Volunteer Speakers to help promote awareness of the charity and raise funds to support and train our dogs. The role is an important one as often this is the first time that people will have heard about the charity.

We will provide the training and materials to support you as a Speaker.

We need to raise over £2.5 million a year, which amounts to around £5 per minute. We do this with the help of an amazing team of volunteers and we couldn't continue our work without them.
