Trustee Volunteer Care (CSVA)

Epsom and Ewell's Climate Action Network (CSVA)

Our Trustee Volunteer Care will help us attract new volunteers through events, online campaigns, and partnership; design sign-up forms and manage onboarding; Volunteer Support & Retention to keeps volunteers motivated; check in with them and matches them to tasks; help organise socials and thank-you events and ensure our volunteers feel valued.

This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a growing movement for sustainable living while strengthening community ties.

You will work with the other trustees to submit our application to the Charity Commission in January 2026

Gain valuable experience in non-profit governance and strategic decision-making.

  1. Contribute to our boards leadership and strategic oversight to help our charity achieve its mission and objectives.
  2. Help build partnerships and raise the profile of our charity within the community and external stakeholders.
  3. Help our board promote inclusivity, accessibility, and engagement within the local community.

    We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds with a passion for sustainability, community development, and circular economy initiatives.

What skills do I need?

We will support and train you to enable you to help the Epsom and Ewell Climate Action Network to continue to expand and become more effective in working with existing environmental groups and Eco businesses. Depending on the time commitment you want to give and your current skills and interest we can agree to a volunteering role that meet you and our needs. Whatever role we agree upon you will get the necessary support and training to develop that role so that you grow in the job with us.

no previous trustee experience is required, as training and support will be provided

Time Commitment 2-4 hours per month including monthly online trustee meetings and some face to face meetings with other volunteers and support of specific services you are specifically interested in.
