Volunteer Drivers for Runnymede Good Neighbour Schemes

Voluntary Support North Surrey (VSNS)

Volunteer drivers required for good neighbour schemes across Runnymede.  Some groups may require duty officer support too and vary in offers of community assistance.   

Based on your address we will link you to your most local good neighbour group.

In particular, support with offering local people assistance in reaching GP surgeries and hospital appointments by collecting them from their homes and giving them a lift in your car.

At the same time, this provides a chance to chat and help break the isolation of many people's lives who may otherwise feel cut off from the community due to their age or a disability.

What skills do I need?

Friendly personality, you should enjoy chatting and being sociable. 

Be a competent driver and know your local area.
