Volunteer Centre Support Assistant

Ideally, we would like someone to take part and assist in activities we provide at the centre, which includes quizzes, crafting, gardening, bingo and so much more. New ideas are also always welcome.

We would like you to be confident in encouraging members to take part and be aware of those who made need a little extra support.

Support in our servery providing teas, coffees & cakes as well as assisting at lunch time with seating our members and helping clear away the dining area.

This role would be suitable for someone who enjoys talking and supporting the elderly community.

What skills do I need?

Confident in meeting and supporting new people.

Patient, with a good sense of humour.
New skills and activities which could benefit our clients are very much welcomed.
