Volunteer Administrator at Love me Love My Mind (CSVA) : Volunteering

Love Me Love My Mind is a small registered charity based in Epsom Surrey which aims to promote better understanding of mental health and to support the well-being of everyone in the community.

Role Purpose

To provide essential administrative support that ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of our charity, helping us reach more people through our weekly drop-ins and the annual Epsom Mental Health Week Event.

Main Responsibilities

Communication Management: Respond to general enquiries from the public and partners.
Record Keeping: Create, maintain and update internal databases for volunteers, trustees and member records in compliance with GDPR.
Event Support: Assist in scheduling meetings and coordinating resources for the Monday Drop-In sessions and other projects LMLMM hosts.
General Admin: Monitor referrals, process incoming post, and provide basic support to both the Chief Officer and Trustees.

What skills do I need?

Skills & Experience

Organisational Skills: High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Communication: Excellent written skills with a warm, empathetic tone suitable for a mental health setting.
IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Personal Qualities: A non-judgmental attitude and a commitment to the charity’s mission of improving the quality of life for people in our community affected by mental illness.
