Social Media Volunteer

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Volunteer to help us share the story of our farm online. This role will support our outreach by promoting farm life, events, education sessions, volunteering opportunities, and seasonal activities across our social media platforms.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in communications, marketing, or content creation in a friendly, outdoor-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging content (photos, short videos, captions) showcasing daily life on the farm
• Manage and update our social media platforms
• Promote events, school visits, workshops, and volunteering opportunities
• Help grow our online audience and engagement
• Ensure content reflects the farm’s values and tone of voice
• Work with the team to plan content around seasonal activities and key dates

What skills do I need?

Skills & Experience

• An interest in social media and digital content creation
• Confident using at least one social media platform
• Good written communication skills
• Creative, reliable, and organised
• Interest in farming, food, nature, education, or the outdoors
• Photography or video editing skills are an advantage but not essential
