The Pachamama Project
Working from home (or from wherever you choose), sewing reusable, sustainable sanitary pads that we then distribute to refugees and vulnerable people around the world. Join the over 1,000 Pachamama volunteers who have joined the team since this project was set up in August 2020 and help take thousands of women and girls out of period poverty. The pads last 3-5 years.
Full instructions and templates provided as well as fabric, on request. Our lively, warm, supportive group of volunteers shares tips and resources via our closed Facebook Group and/or local Whatsapp groups and we communicate regularly on email with newsletters and updates.
Access to a sewing machine and some spare time. That’s it!
