Bagshot Infant School (SH)
Bagshot Infant School now has vacancies on its board for School Governors who want to get involved, learn and contribute to making a real difference as we develop and grow.
The Governing Body has collective responsibility to make decisions which are in the best interests of the children of Bagshot Infant School. The role of the Governing Body is to seek assurance from the Headteacher and Leadership Team of the school that the children are receiving the best possible learning and the best possible care. The guiding principle is that we are there as individual governors for all children in the school and decisions are based on this.
If you are interested and have the capacity to give your time freely to support the school please consider
We welcome applications from adults with commitment, a good standard of education, an interest in schools and relevant work experience.
There is an expectation that governors will occasionally participate in training funded by the school.
Governors should prepare for meetings by reading papers sent out 7 days before the meetings.
