Panto volunteer - Surbiton

Head2Head Sensory Theatre is a charity that provides specialised SEND accessible theatre performances, as well as other services to the community.

We are coming to Surbiton on Saturday 19th December 2026 to perform two shows at 11.15am and 2pm.  These will take place in CornerHOUSE Community Arts Centre, 116 Douglas Road, Surbiton, Surrey, KT6 7SB

We are looking for a few volunteers to: set up merchandise for selling; sell merchandise to members of the public, make and sell hot drinks and refreshments; help guide the audience to their seats and other ad hoc duties of a similar nature.

What skills do I need?

Volunteers need to love the theatre; be approachable and friendly; be patient and have good customer service skills.

When do I need to be available?

Performances are at 11:15am and 2pm. They last approximately one hour but may overrun, according to the needs of the audience. Ideally, people would come half an hour before each performance and stay half an hour afterwards, to help prepare and pack away/wash up. Volunteers would be welcome to volunteer for just one performance.
