Keep Us Running Smoothly – Volunteer Office Support (Woking)

Whether you're looking to give back, gain office experience, or simply enjoy helping out in an organised and purposeful setting, this flexible opportunity could be just right for you.

When & Where

  • Location: LinkAble Centre, Woking
  • Commitment: 1 day per week or fortnight
  • Flexible scheduling – we'll work around your availability.

Your Role

You’ll support our Office Manager with a wide range of admin tasks including:

  • Shredding, scanning, and photocopying
  • Data entry and general administration
  • Answering phones and taking messages
  • Welcoming visitors and offering a warm reception
  • Supporting seasonal fundraising activities like Christmas events
  • Helping with anything else that keeps our small charity running efficiently.

You’ll receive clear guidance, ongoing support, and a chance to get involved in a positive and purposeful team.

What skills do I need?

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable working in a busy, friendly office
  • Personable and enjoys working with others
  • Reliable, self-sufficient, and happy to pitch in where needed
  • Positive, adaptable, and has a good sense of humour.

Previous office experience is helpful, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are even more important.
