Firstly categorising our many books working with residents. Choosing a book of the month to highlight. Encouraging residents to use the library. Reading to residents who are visually impaired.
Please note: All volunteers are required to complete a three hour fire training and one hour manual handling course to be able to volunteer at the care home. It's a requirement to do this training before you start and renewable annually.
No qualifications required. However you will need to be able to put books into categories and have an interest in books and stories.
