HR & Service co-ordinator

Thames Ditton Homes (CSVA)

We are seeking a volunteer committee member to help a small, independent, charitable organisation team to manage sheltered housing for 15 older people in Thames Ditton. 

As a Committee Member you would share responsibility for managing our sheltered housing company.

As HR and Service co-ordinator you would take a lead in managing our current Resident Manager and recruiting a new Resident Manager and/or determining how best to deliver the services needed when the Resident Manager retires shortly.

The Management Committee meets 4 times a year a subcommittee of some of the members meeting 4 times a year as well.

From time to time there will be a need to carry out some work outside of the committee.

The Management Committee is friendly and supportive and acts as a team to manage the company.

What skills do I need?

We are looking for someone

- interested in supporting the provision of sheltered housing

- with experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver goods and services and/or and/or experience of project definition and delivery

- with some experience of HR and recruiting to fill a role, whether as an HR person or as a manager who has recruited to a team

This role will suit someone located close to Thames Ditton

The Management Committee meets 4 times a year usually on a Monday evening. A subcommittee of some of the members meeting 4 times a year as well, usually on a weekday afternoon. From time to time there will be a need to carry out some work outside of the committee.
