Heathland Conservation Society (HSC) (SH)
Make a Real Impact Outdoors This Winter
Join the Heathland Conservation Society in maintaining and restoring the rare heathland habitats between Broadmoor and Bagshot. Volunteers help clear scrub and manage vegetation during the key conservation season—October to February—when nesting birds are not disturbed.
Sessions run on Wednesday mornings, offering a great way to get active, enjoy nature, and support biodiversity. No experience needed—just enthusiasm, a willingness to get stuck in, and a good sense of humour. Training is provided.
Volunteers should be physically fit enough for outdoor work, enjoy working in a team, and have a positive attitude toward conservation and wildlife protection.
