Group Lead Volunteer (CSVA)

We’re looking for one or more volunteers to join our leadership team as a Group Lead Volunteer for 1st Claygate Scout Group.

This is a shared, flexible role, focused on supporting our amazing volunteer leaders and helping our successful Scout Group continue to thrive.

You don’t need to be an expert in Scouting — just someone who enjoys working with people, supporting volunteers, and being part of the local community.

The role can be shared between two or more people, and we’re open to shaping it around the right individuals.

What skills do I need?

No prior scouting experience necessary. Ability to build, maintain and facilitate effective working relationships with a variety of people. Plan, manage and monitor task and time and delegate effectively.

Much of the role can be worked on in your own time flexibly. There will be evening meetings and weekend camps.
