 Be the Spark Behind the Scenes – Fundraising Volunteer (Woking)

Looking for a fun, flexible way to give back to your local community? Join LinkAble as a Fundraising Volunteer and help us raise vital funds to support children and adults with learning disabilities across Woking.

You’ll be part of a welcoming team that runs a variety of events—from local fairs to sponsored challenges—and your time and energy will help ensure every event is a success.

When & Where

  • Location: Various community venues across Woking
  • Commitment: Flexible – occasional weekday or weekend hours, based on event needs
  • Activities may include: Setting up and packing down at events, running stalls, selling raffle tickets, talking to visitors and supporters.

Whether you can give a few hours now and then or want to get more involved, your help will be appreciated and impactful.

Your Role Could Include:

  • Helping set up/take down at community events and fundraisers
  • Manning stalls, tombola's, or raffles with a smile
  • Speaking to supporters and representing LinkAble
  • Assisting with promotions, donations or collections
  • Providing general support and enthusiasm at events large and small.

What skills do I need?

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Friendly and approachable, happy to chat to members of the public
  • Organised and reliable, with a can-do attitude
  • Confident communicators, comfortable engaging supporters
  • Willing to pitch in wherever needed, from lifting tables to selling tickets
  • Flexible with availability, especially for occasional weekends

You don’t need previous experience—just energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to make a difference.
