Do you love meeting new people? Are you passionate about making your community a more supportive place for those living with dementia?

CAMEO is looking for a team of enthusiastic, friendly, and dedicated Volunteer Ambassadors to help us shine a light on the vital support we provide to families across the region. We don’t just offer a service; we offer a lifeline. Now, we need you to help us spread the word.

What’s the Mission? As a Friends of CAMEO Ambassador, you’ll be the face of the charity at the heart of our community. Whether it’s a bustling village fair, a local festival, or a focused leaflet drop, you’ll be there to ensure that no one faces dementia alone because they "didn't know we were here." Choose your level of involvement: • The Event Crew: Attend local events, hand out leaflets, chat with the public, and help with donation collections. • The Lead Ambassadors: Take the reins! Help us identify upcoming local events, book stall spaces, manage our branded kit, and lead the team on the day.

Most events are at weekends or occasional weekday evenings. • Community Spirit: Meet like-minded people and become a well-known face in your local area. • Real Impact: Every conversation you have could be the one that connects a family in need to the support they deserve. • All Ages Welcome: From students looking for experience to retirees wanting to give back—everyone is welcome (under 16s just need to bring an adult along!).

How it Works Once you’re part of our" Ambassador Pool," we’ll shout out whenever an event pops up. If you’re free, let us know! We’ll confirm the team for each date, so there’s no long-term pressure—just jump in when you can.
