Event Volunteer

Our Event Volunteer role is vital in ensuring that we can help families of seriously ill children keep moving forward.

From marshalling and providing encouragement at cheer points for those participating in challenge events, helping with bucket collections, attending local events to raise our profile to getting into character as ‘Mo’ our owl mascot.

The gift of your time is invaluable to our charity.

What skills do I need?

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, trustworthy people who enjoy being in a group with other volunteers.

Depending on the event, you will need to be able to withstand all weather conditions and be happy to be on your feet… or not! Flexibility, self-motivation and the willingness to motivate others are all great traits for Event Volunteers.
