Corporate Engagement and Corporate Sponsor Coordinator Volunteer

Families Thriving Together is a Charity based in Shepperton, Surrey. The role is remote

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

We are looking for a person to engage us with corporate companies and potential sponsors. This will involve spending time researching and engaging with them, promoting what we can offer them and how they can support us. Using and understanding Corporate Social Responsibility. This will require ability to network and really understand the mission and needs of Families Thriving Together.

Through your skills, you will help amplify our mission, engage with our audience, and drive meaningful impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research companies, their ethos and their background of supporting charities
  • Make contacts and connections with the companies to engage them in our cause
  • Develop strategies tailored to FTT, eg Gain sponsorships from companies to pay for “one person to attend a programme” or “sponsor a runner for our London Marathon Campaign”
  • Make timely actions and coordinate with your nominated contact at Families Thriving Together
  • Analytics and reporting – track and analyse the outcomes and generate reports accordingly
  • Stay up to date with trends – and liaise with social media coordinator to advertise and actively use new supporters within our own social media
  • Understanding match funding and payroll giving and engaging companies in these
  • Ensuring companies understand what we can give back to their workplace wellbeing offer - parenting programmes and workshops

What skills do I need?

QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE, to include:

  • Strong written and visual communication skills
  • Good knowledge of engaging companies
  • Experience at talking and networking with people
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools is not required but would be ideal
  • A good understanding of the charity's mission and goals
  • A commitment to the charity's values and a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Previous experience in engaging companies with charities.

Location: Remote working for a Charity based in Shepperton, Surrey Time Commitment: 2-3 hours per week for a period of between 12-24 months
