Community Cafe Volunteer

Help serve the community with warmth, tea, and friendly conversation!

The Hope Café in St John’s is looking for Community Café Volunteers to join our small, friendly team. Whether you're wiping down tables, helping with food prep, washing up, or simply having a chat with customers, you'll be making a real difference. The café runs every Wednesday from 11:30am to 1:30pm, offering teas, coffees, and light lunches to local residents.

This is a great chance to meet new people, gain practical experience, and be part of a positive community space. Full training provided, including food hygiene.

What skills do I need?

No prior catering experience is required—just enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine willingness to help. If you’re friendly, enjoy chatting with others, and like being hands-on in a kitchen or café setting, we’d love to have you.
