Cinema Night Support Volunteer (CSVA)

Elmbridge Mencap (CSVA)

Our much-loved Cinema Night has been running for over 20 years and is a highlight of the month for many of our members.

Held on the third Saturday of each month, the session offers a relaxed and inclusive cinema experience, with films shown on a large projector screen and surround sound. There is a short interval with refreshments, and attendees can simply turn up—no booking required.

The session is volunteer-led and supported by an experienced lead volunteer, creating a warm and community-focused environment.

We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to help support and run Cinema Night.

This is a facilitation role, focused on creating a welcoming and enjoyable group environment rather than providing direct care.

· Welcoming attendees and helping them settle in

· Supporting a friendly, inclusive atmosphere throughout

· Assisting with refreshments during the interval
