Join our award-winning telephone befriending service supporting isolated older people across the UK. With just one hour weekly, your friendly chat can become the highlight of someone's week.

Your Impact:
• Weekly 1-hour calls to a matched older person
• Offering companionship through life's challenges
• Being a consistent, caring voice for those who may have:

Limited mobility or health issues, experienced bereavement, caregiving responsibilities, end-of-life loneliness.

What skills do I need?

Ideal Volunteers Are:
• Patient listeners who enjoy conversation
• Reliable (minimum 6-month commitment preferred)
• Comfortable discussing sensitive topics
• Respectful of confidentiality
