Adult Leader for Rainbows or Brownies - Bagshot and Camberley District

Girlguiding Bagshot and Camberley District

Are you someone looking to volunteer with children? Were you a Rainbow, Brownie or Girl Guide? Or were you once a Leader and stepped out of Girlguiding to pursue other interests, but want to get back into it? Do you want a role that grows you too......Then read on!

There are roles where volunteers work directly or indirectly with those in each of the Girlguiding sections.

Currently we are looking for volunteers to work directly with Rainbows (age 4 to 7) and Brownies (age 7 to 10) in the Camberley and Heatherside area. Volunteering can be arranged to fit around you.

Leaders run activities, games, projects and events that give girls the opportunity to discover their potential, learn new skills and ultimately badges!

Most importantly, Girlguiding is flexible and we work with you to match you to a suitable role.

What skills do I need?

Think you don’t have enough skills for one of these roles? Think again! Be a fun facilitator, a crafty creator.....

We have a variety of different opportunities and a huge range of training opportunities to support you – you could take our Leadership Qualification, become a trained first aider or perhaps earn qualifications in outdoor activities such as archery or paddleboarding.

You can learn new skills and receive training while making a real difference.

Do something amazing – help us give girls in our local community more opportunities for fun, friendship, challenge and adventure, with the same benefits and more for you! Girlguiding gives you many transferable skills and memories for life. It's truly inspiring.

Teamwork - we support each other in the unit and wider district. Delegation. Sharing responsibility - work to everyone's strengths. Organisation and planning.  Give the girls the best experience possible!
