Chatting with Residents (SH)

Active listening and conservation, come and enjoy a chat with our residents in our Bistro area or garden. From one hour to spending an enjoyable afternoon at our social every afternoon at 3.30. We often have entertainment during the afternoon a few times in a month. The opportunity time is flexible to suit the availability of the volunteer.

Please note:  All volunteers are required to complete a three hour fire training and one hour manual handling course to be able to volunteer at the care home.  It's a requirement to do this training before you start and renewable annually.

What skills do I need?

No qualifications, ability to speak clearly and conversations.
